kevin moon birthday project
- they say that home is where the heart is -
An DIY photobook - full of art, stories and inspirations for our favourite moonlight boy, Kevin Moon! For this photobook we followed up on and took inspiration from your own song "604" and invited TheB all over the world to tell you about themselves, their hometowns and about what 'home' means to them. We wanted to introduce our hometowns to you as if we were showing them off to a close friend visiting and bridge the distance between us.- There's no place like home. -
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Hi, TheB!Our idea is to put together an album full of art, stories and inspirations for our favourite moonlight boy. The overarching theme will be “my hometown”, following up on Kevin’s own song “604” in which he sings about the place(s) to call home. We want to introduce our hometowns like we would if we were showing it off to a close friend visiting. In this DIY photo album we invite TheB all over the world to tell Kevin about their hometowns and themselves. Entries will be things like photo collages, drawings, sketches, recipes, letters, poetry, compositions (sheet music), to name just a few - there are no limits to your creativity. If you are unsure about something you want to submit do not hesitate to contact us.We kindly ask you not to include any profanity or graphic imagery in any of the content you submit! (IST is annoying enough as it is; if we find out you did during checks, we cannot include your entry in the book or will have to ask you to alter the content accordingly if feasible within the time frame).Every participant will be given two pages (one front plus one back; dimensions 20x20cm) to fill and work on. (If you’d like less pages, please let us know.) You will be able to submit your pages via email ([email protected]) or cloud, alternatively you can send your pages to us by mail (postage not covered by us) but please let us know in advance if you are planning to do so, since it may impact the overall size/thickness of the book.Sign ups will open on October 1st and will close once all spots are taken. We will give regular updates on the progress of the book and share some ideas for inspiration on instagram and twitter. Since we have limited spots, we would like you to sign up as soon as you know you want to participate. This whole project is free of charge for all participants and all costs will be covered by the admins. However, you are welcome to donate any amount of money to our gofundme if you have the means (and leisure) to do so.The final deadline is the 11th of December, and we will be checking in to see how far you've come. For a more detailed schedule, check out the schedule page~
If you cannot meet a deadline (regardless of the reason) please let us know a few days beforehand and we can always find a solution!
